Passed plan check at the Building Department on the first visit!

This is an excellent resource. I'm a software engineer and my husband and I decided to remodel our bathroom. Using this book and Microsoft Visio I created a bathroom plan and cited all codes followed and passed the city building department's plan check the first time! I've never submitted a plan to the building department before in my life - or remodeled a bathroom. It's a fantastic field resource; just flip to the section that you need info on -- HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc. it's in there. Of course not all situations are covered in here and you may need to purchase additional volumes for more information -- I'm about to buy the electrical-only version.
