Very English who dun it.

As in a Sherlock Holmes book, it weaves back and forth with different clues until, near the end, you finally figure it out.

    I AM ICE chapter 2

Icepaw stifled a sob, Froststar, was dead. Lillyfur, was dead. And worst of all. Hawkpaw. Was dead. The wolf had attacked Brightstream, who was protecting Hawkpaw. While the wolf struck, she ducked. And the creature hit Hawkpaw, instead. The wolves had left. Leaving their victoms behind. Brightstream had gone after them. But was dragged back by one of the wolves. Dead. The clan was down to only a few cats. The list of dead, was too long.
Froststar, Nightpad, Silvershine, Brightstream, Hawkpaw, Redkit, Lillyfur, Falconshade, Mintpelt, and many ohers that Icepaw never knew.
"Darkpaw?" Icepaw slid in behind her brother. "I am not Darkpaw! I an still Darkkit." He snapped. "Don't you remember?" He asked her. "Remember what?"
"Our real mother! Not Lillyfur! We aren't six moons. Hawkpaw was, but we weren't!" Darkkit's explanation only bewildered Icepaw. "I don't understand...." she slowly backed away. "Icekit. Hawkpaw was not your brother. I am. And you are only 4 moons. That is why we were always smaller than Hawkpaw!"
Icepaw's eyes narrowed. "I don't believe you..."
Darkkit shook his head. "I never asked you to."
"Who told you?"
"Brightstream. Before she died. She is Hawkpaw's mother."
A shape loomed up behind Icepaw and Darkkit. A paw came down, swiping across Darkkits neck. A crack sounded, and he fell. The creature then grabbed Icepaw by the scruff and dragged the wailing she-cat away.
