Overview

Tracy Karlovassi is the star of the near-science fiction TV series The Coldest Equations. In the series, she plays the leader of a security team for a civilian space corporation that, along with its many rivals, is creating the technology to build space stations and cities on other planets.

Whenever an idea on earth is committed to celluloid, an alternate earth is created that is represented in that TV series. Such it is with the Coldest Equations. And there are People Out There, watchers, who have devised a way to transfer actors from earth into their real counterparts on the alternate earth, and vice versa.

In The Coldest Equations, Miranda Rainbird has been framed for a crime she did not commit, and is on the run both from the security teams of her own corporation, but those of rival corporations as well. If it were Miranda Rainbird, she'd doubtless be able to conquer all adversaries...but can a mere actress do so?
