Coldspring is the first of three books in the Coldspring series: Coldspring, Coldspring; The Trial and Coldspring; The Resolution. This first volume chronicles the unconventional love triangle between 2 men and one woman as they reincarnate together for over 12,000 years. When their shared karma explodes into violence in the 1700's they become locked into a karmic fugue. The karmic forces that they have set into motion can only end in murder in each successive lifetime unless one of trio can resolve their shared karma through free will. Their journey toward karmic fulfillment is a fascinating one as it is chronicled through three actual murders that occurred in the same area. The real characters in the book are developed using their Astrology and Numerology charts. As a result, the reader will definitely find Coldspring to be a real page-turner!

Very good book with a fascinating tale of "Social concerns" about released longtime criminals and the ramifications on decent people.
The first two time period stories were very good. Page turners. Then the stories got to the late 1800's onto the early 1900's. That is where it gets really long. There really was not much of an ending because obviously the authors want you to get the next book The Trial. So onto Barnes&Noble to buy and lo and behold not a Nook book yet. Which I really don't get because it was written in 2010. Even Kindle does not have it yet. But my star review is based on the book itself. There was a lot written about some characters that really have nothing to do with the story itself and could have made for a lot less words and pages. It could have easily been one book which included the Trial. Coldspring has a very Disappointing end. After reading the book my advise is to either wait until you can get the trial as a e-book too or spend way to much money on the hard copy. I will wait and had I known I could not get the eBook yet I would have waited to read the first one. I think this is a 3 1/2 star book no way a 5 star as the first reviewer put. Close to a 4 but not quite. So giving it a 3.
