This book is breathtaking! It is now one of my favorite books of all time. There is friendship, family and love. It is all tied in with adventure and the betrail of who you thought were loved ones. The main character, Colin, finds out how to use his inner ability to save his town and who he really loves. Even though he was raised by his betraying aunt he finds his birth mother and father who love him very much. He also finds great friends with his part time gardian(someone to keep him safe from immortals and other things), Sergent Peary. Colin has a new friend from soccer named Reah, too. With the help of many people and the put downs of many others, Colin saves many people.
