Collectables Classics [Box Set]

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - Campbell
Collectables Classics is a limited-edition five-CD box set with 102 songs that collects eight albums in their entirety from the legendary singer/pianist Bobby Short: Speaking of Love, Sing Me a Swing Song, Bobby Short Loves Cole Porter, Guess Who's in Town: Bobby Short Performs the Songs of Andy Razaf, The Mad Twenties, My Personal Property, Bobby Short on the East Side, and Moments Like This. It's not a bad way to acquire the albums if you don't already own them, but there are no bonus tracks or new packaging or remastering, which means it's of marginal interest to hardcore collectors.
