All Music Guide - Thom Jurek
Simply put, this 11-cut compilation was culled form the New York Voices three albums for GRP, Hearts of Fire, New York Voices, and What's Inside. As such, it assembles pretty much the best tracks from those records. That said, it should be noted that these years weren't necessarily the group's best artistically, but were commercially. There isn't anything wrong with that. Folks who dug the NYV titles from GRP will be delighted with this, and those of us seeking to fill in gaps previously left in NYV's discography have good reason to pick this one up as well.
