The hits included the infectious "Gel," sarcastic, mid-tempo "December," and the lovely, soaring ballad "The World I Know." While not exactly ground-breaking, Collective Soul delivers the goods with a dozen, hook-laden songs for which they were awarded another multi-platinum outing.

    Self Titled Kicks butt!

The one that got me started.....love this rockin cd.Start to finish and no disappointments. Unlike some bands efforts , you may be lucky to get 2-3 good songs...this one is great start/finish!

    A very nice sophomore work

The band is finding its groove in this album; the style is beginning to diversify and the bass track is turned up a touch. The lyrics remain strong and upbeat. Fans who were hoping to hear more of the first album's sound may be a tad disappointed, but this is nonetheless good music.
