I can't believe it all started with Connor and Ellery. Now Julie is with Jake and Collin... well Collin is a Black through and through. Life struggles, hope, love, fears and family broight into one book. Collin and Amelia both come from heart breaking events in their life and come out stroger.. together? I'm not going to spoil it however this is a must read book. Another well written book from a fabulous author.

Sandi Lynn you have done it again! I absolutely fell in love with Collin. The way you showed how he was broken and didn't want to admit that he was until he met the "real" love of his life Amelia. How Amelia was broken and thought it was easier to push everyone away and not accept that the accident was not her fault just because she survived until she met the "real" love of her life Collin. The way they healed each other was heartwarming. This book had sadness, happiness and laughter. I was saddened that you wrote Denny out but absolutely loved his letter to the family. I wish you would have told us what was in the letter to Connor. I was surprised that the baby did not have a part of Denny in his name. I also loved how you still kept the entire family in the book and we were updated about them. I am especially happy that you didn't change Connor and Ellery and how they drove the kids nuts with their chemistry! I absolutely LOVED the ending and the proposal. Although the way you ended it was TOTALLY MEAN!! Having to wait until A Forever Family in 2015 to read about Ellery's reaction to them getting married without her was genius!

Oh yes, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I was surprised by Collin because in the other stories we know that he is dating Hailey but life takes a turn for Collin when Hailey dumps him and heads to Italy. This really sets Collin on his own journey to find true love. Of course, he starts by replicating the bad boy ways of his father pre-Ellery. During one of his drunk escapes he crosses paths with Amelia. I love the how some of the best moments we experienced with Connor and Ellery are mirrored in Collin's journey. Amelia is coping with the loss of her family and has been hiding from the world, just surviving, not really living. The challenge for Collin is getting past her barriers and helping her see that she can live, that the guilt doesn't have to consume her. At the same time, Collin has to change his own direction and find his purpose while giving up the hard partying. Will these two lost souls be able to heal each other?

I really enjoyed reading about Connor and Ellery. Their love was so special! I really enjoyed Collins story more than I enjoyed Julie's, but they were both still were well written. My question is why was Connor's sister Cassidy left out of Julie and Collins story. I thought Connor and Cassidy had a special relationship as brother and sister. I was hoping for a story about Cassidy and the lawyer that she met in Connors office. Please keep writing, I really enjoy your books Sandi, I am a cancer survivor and Ellery's story was dear to my heart. Thank you again!

This is one of my favorite authors but it is difficult to believe she wrote this book. The book is simplistic and childish at times. Almost like she was trying so hard to increase the word count that things kept being repeated over and over. I found it annoying how many times she referred to the penthouse and the Range Rover to show the amount of wealth the family had but didn't bother to research enough to know that Rover's have Bluetooth and the driver wouldn't be talking into their cell during calls. If I had read this book first I would never read another Sandi Lynn book. Very disappointed after reading Connor and Ellery's story.

I did love Collin as much as Conner. I think I spent a lot of time wondering if rich people really sponser others like the Black family. I hope so. Looking forward to the babies that will be coming and I have a feeling the ex will show up again.
