Children's Literature
This very attractive pop-up/paper engineering book has a major flaw: although it is clearly designed for very young children, they would most likely destroy the fragile pop-ups if allowed to handle the book. Each spread has two 3" square flaps, each one a different color. Lifting the flap reveals a beautifully engineered paper sculpture of a creature(s) in that color-i.e. green snakes, butterflies, flamingos. The grand finale has all colors-a paper sculpture of a coral reef with 20 fish and two seahorses. A pleasing book for young children, but they will require supervision.

    Fun for Kids and Parents

    My son received this book as a gift for his first birthday. We both loved to read it. The colors and pictures are spectacular. Unfortunately it is a bit fragile and over time it was torn. I liked it so much that I am in the process of purchasing another one for my daughter, who has just turned a year. She's guaranteed to enjoy it! I recommend it for babies and for young children learning their colors.

    My daughter's favorite book

    She loves this book. She loves it when a snake pops out, chicken pops out. Yes, she has torn a page or two as she is just a year old but this is still her favorite book. She picks it out from the whole pile. I am going on a shopping spree to buy more of these pop up suprises series and hope they will be as good.
