For the traveler, not the tourist.

If you want a list of pretty places, scenic overviews, and tourist traps, get a pamphlet. If you want the inside scoop, the lowdown, the skinny, and the 'been-there-and-done-that' firsthand experience of the best and most insteresting, get this guide! Bruce, Dean, and the rest of their contributors and staff have done a wonderful job of compiling THE guide to Colorado. Of course, no single publication can touch on every single intersting thing in Colorado (more a State of Wonder than a State in the Union). But, dang it, this guide sure tries! It's obvious that they have not only taken the time to actually go to the places they are writing about, they also talked to the locals and got insider tips on what to do, where to go, and who to see. If you only have room or money for one guide, this is it!
