There was a lot of really useful info in here about how to decide what gems to buy and how it can pay off if you know what you are paying for. I was hoping there would be more about how to clean and care for a gem that you already own but the author just briefly touched on the subject. Still an interesing read and could be helpful if you intend to purchase jewelry in the future. It even depicts the differnet cuts so you can see what they look like....There and no photos in color, every thing is black and white.
