I actually purchased this book because it was required as a textbook in my Graduate studies for Special Education. To be honest when I first opened the book I thought, you have got to be kidding. I am not much into coloring, but as I worked in this book I found myslef appreciating the task, the coloring was in many ways relaxing which enhanced the learning, namely the structure and systems of each part of the brain. I would greatly recommend this book for those who are beginning to study the brain anatomy, along with lecture study and other forms of study, this coloring book will reinforce the learning. I was a clinical psych grad student studying for comprehensive exams, and I found neuroanatomy very intimidating. This provided me with a comprehensive, succinct, and helpful knowledge base in the subject. The organization of the book and the variety of teaching formats used helped me not only learn and remember the material, but also to consolidate what I learned. I would recommend this to anyone who wanted general information about the subject or anyone who wanted a more detailed explanation of the intricacies of the brain, its parts, and their functions.Was this review helpful?
