After seeing a piece on TV about the adult coloring book craze, I purchased this one. Coloring has become a nightly activity, a way to wind down. Some of the designs are intricate necessitating frequent pencil sharpening. Other areas are large enough for shading. The paper is decent quality but if you choose to use markers you will definitely have to put card stock behind the page you are working on. the pages are not perforated.
