    Camp Half-Blood~ 3

Emma sat down at a table. She gulped as all eyes turned to her. She heard a few 'look, its the wizard' and 'lookie there, the wizards brave enough to join' but Emma ignored it. She was still mad at Ally and Hunter. She couldnt even bear to glance at their faces. As soon as the meal was set on the table, Emma dug in unhappily. She looked up from her meal as someone was speaking. "Why is a wizard here? This is for demigods only- not puny shrimp wizards!" Emma turned bright red. The message got around the table- until everyone was laughing at her. Emma glanced uneasily at Hunter, who was bursting with laughter. She glanced at Ally. Her face flood with horror when she noticed the demigod was laughing too. The only one who looked upset was Grayson- and she wanted to go hug him. But instead she got up abruptly and started running... running... she ran to the cabin and locked herself in the bathroom. She could hear the three chatting as they entered the cabin. Grayson's voice apeared in the cabin. "Why did you laugh? That probably hurt her, i mean, isnt it obvious?" Hunter started laughing all over again. "So? It was funny!" Ally giggled too. "Yea, and she needed it. She snapped at me this morning when i told her she woke up too early." "Me too. She muttered shut up when i called her a wizard." Through the keyhole, she could see Grayson shaking his head. She turned pale. She burst out of the bathroom and ran out the cabin. She kept running. She ignored all the demigods, jeering 'wizard!' And she just kept running. She looked back to see Ally, Grayson, and Hunter running after her. She sped up. If she wanted to see anybody right now, she knew it wasnt either of those 3. She wanted to see Ginny, her sister if anyone. She started crying as she opened the gates and ran out them. By then, Hunter and Ally had stopped to catch their breath. She turned outside and knelt by some rocks and started crying. She excpected no one would find her here. But then she heard, "you OK?" It was Grayson. She looked up at him through her glasses and took them off to wipe her eyes. He looked sorry. "Im so sorry they laughed at you. But i didnt-" "i know." Emma cried. "But they laughed. And i dont blame anyone. Im a wizard, not a demigod. And that made me feel like everyone was the boss of me- and thats why i snapped at you. Im really sorry." Grayson looked shocked. He pulled her up. She put her glasses on. "You say your related to Athena?" He asked. "My mom was Athena- my dad was a mortal man." "All the more reason to stay." He lead her back to camp. •••••••• next res for next part
