More About This Book

Overview

The spiritual treasures that can be found in the Bible are incalculable. Sadly, according to Gallup polls, many Americans both Christians and non-Christians are becoming more and more biblically illiterate. This book of Bible study lessons is designed for the avid student of the Bible, those who wish to rediscover the truths of the Bible, and those who are searching for the truth. Hopefully everyone who reads this book will gain a greater appreciation for and understanding of the Bible.

This book consists of three volumes of Bible study lessons. Each volume has 52 lessons, one for each week of the year. Volume 1 is entitled GOD'S OLD COVENANT WITH MANKIND. Volume 2 is entitled JESUS' FIRST COMING AND HIS RETURN. Volume 3 is entitled TOPICAL STUDIES and covers topics such as new life in Christ, the Christian's hope, Christian maturation, spiritual warfare, jealousy, marriage, divorce, and spiritual revival.

The virtues of Sunday school were instilled in Bryan at an early age. During the 1980's He was blessed with the opportunity to teach the young adult Sunday school class at his local church. The majority of these Bible study lessons are based on his original teaching notes augmented by additional research. Since this time he has taught additional lessons which are also incorporated in this book. He had toyed with the idea of publishing these lessons for some time, but it was not until he neared retirement in 2008 that he began pursuing his goal in earnest.

Bryan has since retired from ExxonMobil after nearly 30 years of service. He has traveled extensively around the world and has lived overseas (Russia and the Middle East) for five years. He has a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a master's degree in Business Administration.
