Come on Christmas

( 2 )

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - Thom Owens
Dwight Yoakam's Come on Christmas is a rollicking set of rocking holiday classics ironically highlighted by the title track, a haunting original that is one of Yoakam's best songs of the late '90s. The remainder of the album is comprised of high-spirited, entertaining country-rockers that may not add anything new to Yoakam's catalog, but they make the record an enjoyable holiday album.

I love Dwight Yoakam.  I have all his CD's and I always play this CD at Christmas.  His writing on Come on Christmas is so
spot on for the holidays.  It is so lonely and blue and then he goes right into Santa Claus is Back in Town with the swing and
sway that would make Elvis take a listen to it.  You won't be sorry with this CD.  You will LOVE , LOVE, LOVE,  it.

    Dwight Rocks Christmas!

While I'm not a big country music fan Dwight Yokem could sure make me one! Come On Christmas is sure to become a Christmas Classic! His cut of Santa Claus Is Back In Town is the best I've heard since Elvis!
