Meet the Author

The author is strictly thoughtful and direct about reaching his goals many of which he established while he was about eight years old. During the years of his youth, he set his mind to enter college even when the thought of receiving a college degree in his family was nowhere in anyone's conversation. In fact, the small agrarian community where he lived, no record had ever been revealed as to anyone in his community having achieved a college degree.


Because of the author's profoundly thoughtful characteristics, he completed his under graduate, Master degree and is currently seeking his PhD. The gate to his success in his pursuit to acquire his educational goals include the institutions as follows: Riverside High School, Franklin County, Louisburg, North Carolina; Shaw University, Raleigh, North Carolina, area of Study: History and Political Science; graduate- East Carolina University, Area of study, History; graduate- Appalachian State University, Boone, North Carolina, Area of Study, Educational Leadership; Duke University, Durham, North Carolina, Area of Study, ministerial Course of study and Trinity Theological Seminary, Newburgh, Indiana, Area of Study, PhD Program in Pastoral Leadership.

Further, the author as a young lad dreamed that at some point in his life he would travel to foreign countries. His dreams came to fruition: in April, 1977, he was selected by the Friends of American Tours where a travel to the then Soviet Union which included a visit to Finland and in July, 1982, he was selected to participate in the Fulbright-Hays Fellowship Program where he traveled to Pakistan for purpose to study the culture and the Islamic Republic of that country. During his time in Pakistan he visited Istanbul, Turkey, London, and Germany.
