Overview

Karma Mason is a woman with a broken heart. Mark Strong was everything she ever wanted in a man...until he drove out of her life last summer. Now she must learn to live without him, or to at least compartmentalize her feelings so she can move on. Eventually, she takes another chance on the dating scene and meets Brad, a handsome divorcé. Maybe he doesn't curl her toes the way Mark did, but unlike Mark, Brad has no aversion to commitment. Within months, they're engaged, and Karma feels she's finally put Mark behind her.

After being left at the altar seven years ago, Mark swore he would never fall in love again. Then he met Karma, who found a way inside his heart. But after spending four enchanting months with her, Mark succumbed to old fears and ended their affair before returning to Chicago. Now, he can't stop thinking about her. He desperately wants her back, but can he give her the commitment she deserves? Torn between his heart and his mind, Mark leaves the decision to fate. If he and Karma are meant to be together, fate will bring her back to him.

But fate is a cruel mistress. When Mark is offered a job at the company where Karma works, he thinks fate has finally come through. But the ring on her finger, as well as her angry reception, aren't what he expected. Unless Mark can convince Karma he's back for good-for her-he will lose her forever.

Heartbreaking, very emotional continuation of karma's & marc's story. Karma's such a loving sweetie that I wanted to strangle marc who can't get past his dark history. He loves her but fights against it . Decisions that they make & fate tears them apart leaving two very broken people that can't forget each other. Marc returns hoping to regain karma, but it's been a year & she is engaged. & boy do the sparks fly again! Just as erotic & sizzling as the first.

Finding their way back to one another is not an easy road for Karma and Mark. Beautifully written and emotionally satisfying. This is the second book in the Strong Karma Trilogy. A must read!

4.5 stars--COMING BACK TO YOU is the second installment in Donya Lynne’s adult, contemporary STRONG KARMA erotic romance series focusing on Karma Mason and Mark Strong. Their continuing story follows the aftermath of an emotional break up that left our couple heartbroken and lost. Told from alternating first person points of view (Mark and Karma) COMING BACK TO YOU follows Mark and Karma and their endeavor to move forward without looking back. The timeline covers approximately one year, where Mark’s heart and soul are continually pulled back to Karma but Karma’s path has been set in another direction. Believing she has lost Mark forever, Karma finds herself looking to the future with another man, while her heart refuses to let go of the past.  A good portion of the storyline finds our couple apart and in different cities, while their lives continue in opposite directions. There is no doubt that Karma and Mark are deeply in love with one another but life has a way of pushing forward and moving on. Mark’s return to Chicago left Karma broken and depressed, and it is through a journey of self discovery and personal reflection that Karma will come to understand that, like a death, there are stages of loss when your heart is shattered by someone you love. There is plenty of self doubt as it pertains to Karma and her emotional fragility. It is only when Mark is offered a position within Karma’s place of employ does our couple begin another dance of seduction with Mark’s return and Karma’s need for the only man she has ever loved. The colorful secondary characters include all of the previous storyline players including Mark’s friend Rob (and his new fiancée Holly), Karma’s over protective but well meaning family as well as Karma’s co-workers and friends, and the new man in her life.  COMING BACK TO YOU is an emotional, heartbreaking and passionate storyline that is sensual in its presentation. There are moments of condemnation, betrayal, romance and love all blended into a storyline that will see our couple coming back together for a happily ever after—for now ! Donya Lynne’s style of writing is intense, intelligent and will capture your mind and soul.

I love this author's writing ability. She writes another wonderful story with characters that are so real you see yourself, your best friend, and your co - workers. Always run out of book to fast. Dont take that wrong just mean that you get so engrossed in it that before you realize it you have finished the book. Now eagerly awaiting the next installment.
