Meet the Author

Patricia McLaurin Rodríguez holds a B.A. in Spanish and International Studies from the University of South Carolina and an M.A. in International Training and Education from American University. She has worked as a writer, language teacher, and consultant in the United States and South America. Patricia learned about construction and remodeling from her husband and best friend, Tony Rodriguez, who owns a successful carpentry and remodeling business. The couple have two children, Jefferson and Juliana, a cat named Pepa, and several goldfish.
