    Wonderful!

    One of the best books I've read in my life! I enjoyed every second of it. It incorporated many recipes and Mexican traditions of the 19th century. I loved it! The adventure of Tita's love with Pedro is such a touching, as well as funny, novela. Laura Esquivel outdid herself. Two thumbs up! Uno de los mejores libros que he leido en mi vida! Disfrute cada segundo de este drama. Me gusto como incorporaron recetas y tradiciones de Mexicanos en el siglo 19. Me encanto! La aventura del amor que comparten Tita y Pedro es emotivo y muy divertido! Laura Esquivel hico un magnico trabajo con esta novela. Fantastico!

    Great Spanish language romantic novel with a fantastic edge

    I would recommend this for Spanish language readers who are interested in a lite romantic novel. My first language is English but this novel was easy enough for me to read and follow. I enjoyed the way the author incorporated recipes with daily life. There was also a bit of "fantasy" incorporated in the novel that made it a bit more dramatic and held my interest.

    Exquisite!

    I read this book when it was published in 2001 and before the movie was made ( I was a high school student and I loved it since then) The way it is narrated really makes you feel the pains, the love, the heat of the kitchen and the aromas from the same.This is one of those books that you MUST have.

    me encanto!!!

    this has been one of the best books ive read lately. It captures our mexican culture in its own way. i loved the way the author mixed love and food together. when tita cooks her emotions are transmitted through her food , and when others eat it they can feel what she felt at the moment. its just great, i recommend it to everyone!! :)

    Review for Like Water For Chocolate

    This is a really good book to read if you enjoy romance stories and novels. I really enjoyed this book because of the different characters and situations that occur. Tita, the main character, has many rough situations to get through. Being with the man she loves is her biggest concern. She also goes through a phase were she doesnt talk to anyone. Her doctor develops feelings for her which makes this book more exciting becuase you cant predict what choice Tita will make. I really recomed this book to anyone, even if you dont read. This book will make you appreciate stories in books and make you want to continue to read other romance stories.

    Like Water for Chocolate was AWESOME!

    This book was so wonderful. It was just an amazing love story with a much unexpected ending. If you like girlie love stories then you will love this book. It is kind of sad. Tita is put through so much by her mother and her sister. She is almost like a slave in her own house. Everything that she wants and deserves is denied to her. Whether it be freedom, rest, or love. This is just an amazing short little love story.

    Como agua para chocolate

    This is good book. I like the book because it has interesting stories. The book is about a girl who fall in love with an older guy then her. But her mother will not let her married with him. I like the way the author write the storie but she a little bit of mistakes. I like the book because it has love and passion stories. I like the remedies and the receipts.

    'the one n only'

    I think this is a great book. I heard a lot about it by people i know. But one day i went over my friends house, she was reading the book and told me a lot about and wow i got in love with the story. Everybody should read.

    The best book about an impossible love

    this book is one of the most wounderful book I have ever read. I think you should all read this book,you will enjoy reading it. tAKE IT from me,I LOVED IT!!!!
