Efoort is really made to expand upon the first book grimoire for the apprentice wizard...it is very in depth and expands your magickal ability beyond the horizon.

The _Grimoire for the Apprentice Magician_ could not have a better companion. The two works together comprise an ongoing series of works that are instant classics of magick. Both books are reader-friendly, inclusive and not prone to rigid-minded dogma. In addition, they address new and old issues alike, exploring everything from wand-construction to staying safe online. Practical, broad-minded, engaging and imaginative.

This is another one of Oberon¿s great works. This book is similar to the Grimoire but expands in a direction not in the first book. The lessons are set kind of the same, by colors, but are expanded to give you more hands on things rather than reading lessons. The first book has some practical mixed in but this book is practical. There are many exercises and projects to do. These are lessons within lessons in this book. These are the lessons and tests for the apprentice wizard. These are the foundations on which to build your magickal knowledge. For those that also find this book interesting check out the Grey School online to see if the path of the wizard is for you. This book offers lesson input from current members of the Grey School. As I am a student there I also understand that this book is becoming required reading to complete studies there. If you feel the pull of magick and wizardy, Don¿t fight it, check out the school and it¿s publications and maybe you¿ll find that the pull is not a pull but a longing to complete yourself.

When I was first introduced into the Magickal, New-age world, I was told the three books by Silver Ravenwolf were a 'Bible' and a must have for my growth and understanding in the magickal world. I honestly believe that The Companion for the Apprentice Wizard and Grimoire for the Apprentice Wizard are the new 'Bibles' and A MUST Read for all!! It simply covers all areas and angles of wizardry and it is honest and simply written, and truly fun to read. I have read the Grimoire so much it is dogearred and highlighted that I bought one for reading and one for the shelf!! I also did the same with this book, 'Companion' so I have 2 copies of each!! It is a great book(s)and is even good for young children, to read and understand. It does not just deal with Wizardry, it deals with nature and camping, mental brainteasers and even Fairy Wings!! If you buy one book this year, It should be this book, You truly will not regret it!!! Skye

The reason I liked it is that it is the most helpful book I have read. It will teach you spells and how to make a wand and more. It is even better than the first book.

When I first came into the magickal world, I remember being told that the 3 books by Silver Ravenwolf were 'Like a Witches Bible'. Well, I truly feel the Grimoire and the Companion for the Grimoire are truly the 'Bibles' in the magickal world. Oberion writes with such honesty and simpleness it is truly hard not to enjoy or like or even understand these treasures. I have read my first book, Grimoire for the apprentice wizard so much it is a utterly and complete mess with highlights, dogearred pages and creased binding. I had to buy 2 copies of each , 1 for the shelf, 1 for personal use, as I did also with Grimoire. If you truly read nothing else this year, take the time to read this book, as it has so many pearls of wisdom!!! You will not be sorry!!

While the ¿Grimoire for the Apprentice Wizard¿ is a wonderful book unto itself, the ¿Companion for the Apprentice Wizard¿ adds just the right touch to the information previously given by expanding upon it. The companion gives the apprentice wizard the extra information he or she needs to help them along their magickal journey. Along with the written text, there are several cut outs in the back that are designed to give apprentice wizards that extra hands on experience that every budding wizard needs in order to grow. This is a must have if you already have the Grimoire.

I have read many magick books but this is a great book. It expands from the first book and teaches a wide range of magick and more. If you wish to learn magick pick up this book you will be glad you did.
