Alessandra Mattanza, author, screenwriter and fine-art photographer, was born in Italy but has lived abroad for more than 20 years—including in New York City. In 2014 she won first place in “Personality Profile - International Journalism” at the 56th Annual Southern California Journalism Awards in Los Angeles.
