I am a 44 year old professional who is going back to school (UOP) to add a BS degree in information technology. I wanted to say thank you for providing such great packages. I do not use adjectives such as great very often so consider it a very high compliment. I am presently learning C++ and have 6 different books references on the language. I find that I continually return back to your CD and course to find what I am looking for. I have taught programing for M & G code as well as worked with many industrial PLC's (hope the abbreviations are understood) so understand the logic behind writting software. I also understand a little about good teaching. Again your program is great. I will always look for your books when I want to learn a new subject and will recommend them to others also. I really liked the package. I recommend it to anybody, since is the package used in most of the schools. The CDs help a lot and each chapter requires u to practice. After all the best way to learn is to see what is done, understand it and then do it by yourself. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Would someone, who's bought this product, write a review? It's sounds as if I could benefit from this package, but it only got a one-star-rating from one of the reviewers and an opposing review from the other. I am familiar with Visual BASIC, but want to get into some serious programming; C++.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. This package is not for the beginner. In the first few chapters, the book talks about the invention of the computer and the internet. Then out of nowhere they jump to how to write a program and they spit out all these symbols and they dont tell you how to use it in the program or where to go and thier multimedia is a complete copy of the book onto a cd. That isnt much of a difference. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

I have been trying to learn C++ off and on for about a year and a half and I have spent over $300 on books on the subject. I could have saved that $300 if I had bought The Complete C++ Training Course first. It is a great course that teaches C++ by giving you examples that really explain the material and exercises that put you to work writing programs from the first chapter. I would recommend this course to the beginner or a seasoned programmer. It is a great course. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
