    Wispleap

You're spelling and grammar are near perfect, and your characters seem rather elaborate so far. I'm looking forward to reading more.

Dust and Depression- Chapter 1 [Post]

"Alena! Alena wake up!" Mama shook my shoulders,"Honey, wake up," I rolled over in protest. I could tell that Mama was angry,"Now!" I ubruptly sat up, wiping the haziness of sleep from my eyes,"What is it?" I asked groggily. Mama's face was bright red, and her eyes were narrowed,"Just pack some of your things in the suitcase, and get up!" I did as told. I slipped on a baby blue church dress and stockings, and began to pack some things. Across the room, I cooyld see my sister, Mary Kate, packing too,"Do you know what is going on?" I asked. Mary Kate nodded solumnly, her eyes pools of uncertainty. I sighed,"What's going on?" Mary Kate looked angry,"Nobody asked for this to happen, okay Alena? Just pack, I will explain later," I got the feeling that something wasn't right. I shakily locked up my suitcase, and walked to the door, Mary Kate behind me,"Hurry!" She ushered me out,"or we'll get caught!" I raised my eyebrows, but followed her out. Mama, Papa, Cecelia, and Peter were waiting for us at the door. Cecelia was frozen on the spot, shivering in fear,"What's going on?" She whispered. I put a hand on her shoulder,"Just do what Mama and Papa say, alright?" She nodded quietly, following Mama and Papa out the door. The rushed us up Tomson Street, down to Orchard Lane. Orchard Lane lead to the fields were the Hoovervills were. Hoovervills were small shantys, made of rubber tires and drift wood, mainly for those effected by the Great Depression. "Why are we going here?" Cecelia asked Mama. Mama bit the corner of her lip, not replying. My brother, Peter, wrapped his arms around Mama, obviously understanding how she felt. Papa answered Cecelia,"We are going to Hoovervill," [Post]

    Disappointed!

I found this book in the "biography" area of the Nook books, therefore I thought it was a biography on Dusty. It ended up just being a book of lists of songs she recorded and performances. Bummer. Maybe it should be filed under reference books instead.
