Overview

When shy convent girl Mary O’Brien reinvented herself as Dusty Springfield, one of the most glamorous and successful pop divas of the 1960’s was born. Her career began with The Lana Sisters and continued with folk group The Springfields before her first solo success in 1963 with the unforgettable “I Only Want to Be with You.” Subsequent million–sellers included “I Just Don’t Know What to Do with Myself,” “You Don’t Have to Say You Love Me,” and “Son of a Preacher Man.” As the 1960s came to a close, critical acclaim and a successful BBC television series couldn’t save Dusty’s career, and she slipped into obscurity. Following a self–imposed exile marred by alcohol and drug abuse, she re–emerged in 1987 to enjoy new success singing with the Pet Shop Boys. She finally lost her long battle with cancer in 1999, just short of her sixtieth birthday.

You're spelling and grammar are near perfect, and your characters seem rather elaborate so far. I'm looking forward to reading more.

You did a great job on your first chapter! Wow! Here is a suggestion for a character:
Name• Nicholas Wright
Age• 13
Looks• wispy brown hair and green eyes, tall.
Can't wait for the next chapter!

I found this book in the "biography" area of the Nook books, therefore I thought it was a biography on Dusty. It ended up just being a book of lists of songs she recorded and performances. Bummer. Maybe it should be filed under reference books instead.
