I was a bit skeptical of the cover when my girlfriend brought this book home because it looked like the typical fab diet. After giving it a chance because of the high recommendation it came with I realized this wasn't at all your fly by night diet, it's a lifestyle. After being on this nutrition plan you will see positive results in not only your weight, but your energy and mood as well. The startup is a bit expensive because you will probably have to overhaul your pantries and refrigerator (most likely the cause of your current problem) however it is cheap in comparison to all those jenny craig weight watcher processed foods. Once on it for a little while though you'll find ways to get the costs down. If you don't believe me, check out the reviews on amazon and also the forums on the authors website. Tons of support out there. If there was an elective on this book taught in high school our country would be in far better shape.

The Fat Flush Plan is a classic for losing weight and keeping it off. It made me feel great to do the detox. The Cookbook provides lots of variety with easy to fix, delicious recipes. I found the Journal to be extremely helpful to keep me accountable with food choices.

If you are looking for a significant way to alter your consumption of food and beverages and you are totally devoted to flushing everything from your body - this is a great book. But if you are an everyday person and are looking for info and a plan to utilize or incorporate into a "normal" diet - forget it - you will not be able to follow this or fit it into eating regularly. Just my opinion...also she presents some information which is difficult to believe - but it is what it is....not bad - just not for the average person to utilize to be successful.
