    Very comprehensive, highly recommended!

    Eve Honthaner has been working and teaching in the film industry for many years. She has involved in some highly-acclaimed films including Titanic, Just Married, and Joy Ride. She summarizes her professional experience and in-depth research in "The Complete Film Production Handbook."

    "The Complete Film Production Handbook" covers all the basics of film production and distribution, as well as the essential information of the film industry. It has 32 chapters and covers detailed information on film production team, office, and accounting, script, schedule, incentives, pre-production, insurance requirements, during the shoot, building strong industry relationships, deal making, navigating the politics, unions and guilds, principal talent, background talent, animals in films, clearance and release, music clearance, safety, locations, distant locations, foreign locations, travel and hosting, shipping, effects, specifically television, independent filmmaking, practical low-budget film making, new media, commercial production, wrap, post-production overview, greener filmmaking, and industry survival tips. It also has a very comprehensive glossary and index.

    If you buy the book, you'll also get password to access the book's website to find editable versions of the forms from the book. This is a VERY important feature and will save you a lot of time.

    Eve Honthaner covers the entire film industry in a book. "The Complete Film Production Handbook" has 546 pages (8 1/2 x11). It is VERY comprehensive. Highly recommended!
