Great interviews with Supermodels and professionals

I thought this book gave me specific advice about modeling. I am not afraid to come to NYC now, and start meeting people. The interview with Katie Ford, of FORD Models saved me alot of money, she told me what i need to send to the model agents. And I loved the interview with the famous model CARMEN. I hope i can be on every magazine cover like her.The make-up tips were amazing too. I'm going to try to get my boyfriend into body modeling too, with the advice from this book.

    not updated

It is mis-giving about some of the information. It has not been updated, so alot of the information is incorrect. It's more for adults.Lots of pages, little writing.

    THIS BOOK IS WONDERS

From me reading this recently it first made me take a second look on actually stepping foot into the modeling world. After about 6 months of doing everything the book said and following it's advice I now have a photo shoot for next week for a spread in GQ magazine. This book is my bible.

    Alot of info.

I happy that i found this modeling book. It really did answer alot of my questions, and didnt gloss over the tough requirements of modeling in NYC. I wish they had included lists of NYC modeling agencies, but i found that also on one of the websites they reccomended.

    Surprisingly Good Modeling Book

I'm an aspiring model (wannabe) and i own quite a few modeling books. Being from a small town it's hard to get advice on how to start modeling. This book had great photos, and some great advice from alot of people already working in modeling. It seems that alot of 'retired' models write books, and thats great, but the people in this book are STILL WORKING. Carmen, the 70+ year old model, gave some great advice, and she's an inspiration.

    Mom Approved!

As a mother of an aspiring model, i've gone to a couple 'casting calls', and i've bought a few books. While i've gotten alot of common sense advice, it seems that nobody wants to be honest with the truth. My daughter is 15 years old and 5'5' , and all the agencies in our town love her, but we always get rejected from the larger agencies. At first we thought there was a 'conspiracy' against shorter girls.... but after reading this book, we realize the 'BUSINESS part of modeling. We hope our little girl grows a couple inches, and then we'll try again. This book and it's interviews with really reputable agents and professionals opened our eyes. It saved us the money that we would have spent going to NYC. and there are great make-up , before and after photos.... i even learned some tricks from the make-up artist. Tons of beautiful photographs too. Thanks!!!!
