    Lots of useful information.

This book was very helpful in teaching the history and differences of different denominations. I enjoy the purely factual approach to this book. The choice to keep apologetics out of the book was a good one. It allows for anyone tbe able to read it freely. The systematic approach is great for gleaning diferences, but can get tedious at times.

    Better Suited for Academic Study

Although this book does provide an overview of many Christian denominations, I would have liked if it would have provided more easy-to-understand details about each. The information contained in the book was very systematic and the author rarely provided real, helpful, and understandable details that would guide the reader in distinguishing the real-life differences between the denominations. I guess I was looking for a more user-friendly book to help me really understand the differences between the denominations. This book would be better suited for academic study than real-life application.
