This book was very helpful in allowing us to choose a lodge in Glacier National Park. We had no idea where we should stay but after reading the Glacier section we chose Lake McDonald Lodge. The authors even offered advice on which rooms to request. What a gem!

We found the 4th edition of this guide to be very useful during our trip West. It helped us decide where to stay and even what type room to ask for. We highly recommend the book to anyone who will be visiting or staying in a national park.

We found the first edition a great help in our trip West. The second edition is even better as it includes new lodges in Sequoia and Yellowstone. I had no idea any new lodges had been built in the last 20 years. Now I find there are several that have been built in the last two years.
