    Don't Buy it

The Complete Horowitz Horror by Anthony Horowitz, did not live up to my expectations of a "scary" book. The book wasn't a specific story, it was just a bunch of short stories put together, they were all "horror" stories, even though they weren't scary at all, not even creepy. While I was reading, I did find a couple of stories that had interesting titles, but they weren't interesting at all. Most of the stories, were boring at first, then they gave this part, that I think were suppose to be scary, like finding out that they someone was killed slowly and everything was planned out perfectly. I choose this book, so I could get scared, or get a little rush from being scared, but the book wasn't scary at all, I was very disappointed. I also did not like the fact, that he story was a bunch of short stories. I prefer to read a book that is a long story, that gives more detail & I also like to read series. The book itself wasn't that descriptive. The author really didn't put a ton of descriptive words and language into the book. The best example of descriptive language I could find is, "His blisters were like small erupting volcanoes." The book wasn't very descriptive, and it was in a format that I didn't like, that much, but it was somewhat interesting. So that was my book, The Complete Horowitz Horror by Anthony Horowitz. Although it did, disappoint me, I did find that it was interesting, a little bit. The book wasn't very descriptive, in figurative language, that didn't help the book much. Finally, the last part was that I did like and got a little bit scared out by the hidden message in the final story of the book. I think that if you want to find out that message, you should buy the book, but I don't recommend this book, or that you shouldn't buy it.
