This book is way off base. All you have to do to see the errors is look at the Table of Contents. Further, it glosses over critical parts of astrology. It avoids all the schools of astrology, especially those under the Lunar School, other than traditional western astrology. It's just too shallow to give you the real thing. But the book errs further when it tacks on chapters on Numerology and Palmistry, which are separate subject areas and will only confuse the beginner. Anyone wishing to really learn astrology should look elsewhere. If you're an idiot, by all means buy the book! But you won't understand a word of it! If you're not an idiot save your money!

Once you think you're an idiot and buy this book you've admitted you're a dummy! This book touches on a number of important points concerning astrology but doesn't really give you the real picture. Real astrology is very much more difficult than this book indicates. Even for beginners, this book is self defeating. It's no more than an attempt to pacify those who don't understand the horoscopes in the daily newspaper. It also completely ignores other astrological systems and concentrates soley on western astrology. It only gives you a small piece of the whole pie. If you really want to learn about astrology go find something else!
