Diane Ryan is a certified speech and language pathologist and worked with children with communication disorders for six years. She is the founder of KinderSigns, whose mission is to teach parents and professionals around the world how to communicate with pre-verbal, hearing babies through the use of basic signs. My wife and I were interested in teaching baby sign language to our grandchildren. We researched the available books and found this to be the best in terms of information, layout and cost. We weren't disappointed, and would recommend this to any grandparent or parent who wants to enhance communication with their baby.
