    NEW WAYS TO LEARN THE BASICS

    What I liked about this book is that it was really practical. For instance, the section on writing descriptive scenes showed how the author only used information that was useful -- she wrote and then edited a sample passage to make her point. I really enjoyed seeing that because I never know how much descriptive details to include in a scene!
