    A beautifully done book

Rachel Pollack has written a gem of a book on the Tarot. Her expert commentary is accompanied by stunning illustrations that make this text a visual delight. The author gives an overview of just about every aspect of the Tarot -- its history, symbolism, and the use of the cards. It has a few editorial glitches (like using a graphic of the 8 of wands card to illustrate the text for the 9 on wands on page 112), but I'm sure these can be corrected in the next edition. I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in the Tarot. It's just too beautiful not to own.
