Bought it as a gift for my husband who loves to cook Indian food. It is very well organized and includes a very broad sampling of Indian foods by category and chapter. The recipes are thorough and include clear, detailed instructions. The ingredients suggested are truly authentic. Best of all, the photos are numerous and give you a perfect idea of what your dish will look like. And they make the food look absolutely delicious. We have tried a few dishes so far and they have all been truly flavorful and as good as we've had in some of our favorite restaurants. We can tell by rifling through this cookbook that we will use it often as there are so many dishes we want to try. A broad variety of authentic Indian spices are included in the recipes. To help with spices, we bought an Indian spice box and put the most used spices in it. Now we can just pull that out and quickly add the needed spices to most of the recipes. This is really a great cookbook: thorough, authentic, with useful photos and easy to use.
