    A reviewer

The book does a really good job at explaining the techniques, and have really relavent street situations. However, the pictures could have been done a little closer so as to see them better. All in all, its a great book with good situational conditioned responses.

    I Also Recommend:

An excellent resource for Krav Maga.

I take Krav Maga classes from an official location and this is the book they use as the primary curriculum. I bought it to supplement my class time. It does a very good job of providing you the majority of the information for any given level. It is of course no substitution for hands on instruction and practice. It is an excellent resource to look up specifics and to understand the material covered as well as allowing review after getting home from class.

It has detailed instructions with pictures so it is certainly possible to teach yourself the moves illustrated in the book. If you are considering Krav Maga it is an excellent way to familiarize your self with the material before actually joining a class.

It is potentially dangerous to try the content without supervision - but in a pinch it would easily be possible to instruct yourself from this book.

    Great Resource !

Complete Krav Maga is the best I've seen for self defense

Complete Krav Maga is a complete guide to self defense using the most natural and efficient techniques. I study 5 different martial art disciplines and have gained new ideas from reading / studying this book. It has great photos, good explanations and is very thorough, covering almost any scenario, including ground defense. I've looked at several books on Krav Maga and self defense. This is the best and the most complete I have seen. I will be using it as a reference.

    Krav Maga at its best

Super simple to understand and implement on your own or with a partner for practice. I like the clear illustrations and tips for variations and focus points.
