    I Also Recommend:

    Great starter book and reference

This book was recommended for my first course in metal arts. It covers all the basic knowledge points and many advanced topics. The author is highly regarded and the book is very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend it as the first book for a serious student.

    Useful Reference

This was the required text for a metalsmith/jewelry class. It is a good reference book. The pictures are simple and add to the text to make them easy to use.

A must have for the Metalsmith

Tim McCreight has covered just about everything from A to Z in this book for metalsmiths. It is written so that it will be a great guide for those just starting the craft and a great reference for those with time already in the field. It is a must for your library. It is also available with a CD which is also an outstanding valuse as he walks you through the different steps one at a time.
