Portrait of an Artist in Full

Quincy Jones is by far one of America's iconic entertainers and enlightened celebrity-humanitarians. The book shows us a man who from nothing built an empire not only to be envied, but also admired for its ethos. For all his success Quincy Jones has used his wealth not to simply advocate, but rather engender change by instigating some of the largest individual humanitarian and philanthropic efforts to date at home and abroad.

The book covers Quincy's life from his roots in Chicago and performing on the road with Ray Charles and Dizzy Gillespie, to his education, trials, and ultimate success in a challenging industry and time, which was only the beginning of his rise. An entrepreneur and stellar human being, as well as musical hero, Quincy Jones shines!

The book is not you normal biography or artist's profile. It contains incredible features like replicas of original sheet music penned by Jones, notebooks from his work with some of America's greatest performers, and absolutely incredible photography and design.

This is a beautiful book about a captivating individual.
