Meet the Author

Wilma H. Miller, Ed.D., is currently Professor of Education atIllinois State University in Normal, where she has taughtundergraduate students in reading for 25 years. Prior to that shewas an elementary school teacher in Illinois and Arizona.
Dr. Miller has published nearly 200 journal articles dealing withvarious aspects of reading such as The Reading Teacher, ElementaryEnglish, and Reading Horizons. She has also authored 20 books inthe field, including Reading Teacher's Complete Diagnosis andCorrection Manual (1988) and Reading Comprehension Activities Kit(1990), published by The Center.
