I found The Complete Single Mother to be an important work that enables a clear understanding of the single mother's experience and how being a single mother colors her relationships with others. The latter point is important to me because, as a single man who could consider making a commitment to a single mother, I am interested in knowing about how a single mother effectively manages her relationships with her child or children and her boyfriend, as well as her own needs within those relationships. Such an understanding, which Dr. Klungness presents lucidly and thoroughly, lays the groundwork for a meaningful relationship based on empathy and trust. I also found the information on Dr. Klungness' website similarly helpful. Five stars for sure. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. I bought this when I was 6 months pregnant (and abandoned) and 6 years later, it is still read often! It has every question answered for every situation you may be in and it deals with events that could happen from conception to when your child becomes an adult. I even bought a copy for my mother when she went through her second divorce! This is a great book to help all of us single mom's out there grow brave, stand strong and unite!!!!!Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
