I rated this book a 3. I quess I just got spoiled with Rick Black's cookbooks.
You Don't have to be a chef extraudenaire to enjoy the easy to follow recipes and menus of this book. The catagories by cut of meat makes finding a recipe to macth simple. From mild to wild this has it all, merinates, jerky, alternative, and traditional. Hunters you put too much time into getting your deer, STOP frying it up in a pan of onions and butter!, you can do better! Venision is a fine lean cut of meat that needs to be prepared differantly than beef or pork.
