Open up the scriptures for yourself!

The version of this that I have is the one with the Greek paralell, and it has done so much for me. I didn't know anything about Greek when I first got it, but now I am becoming semi-proficent at it. I have always felt that the Authorized Version was the best english translation of the Bible, but now I am thoroughly convinced because of this book. It has helped me to really get to the meat of the scriptures, and has been such a blessing to me. The only drawback for me was the fact that, in the footnotes, the author puts in some of his own personal interpretations of the scriptures that not everyone would agree with. But don't let that be a hinderance if this means you, just go past it, and use it as the great tool it is. (P.S. I hope that the author, for his Complete Old Testament eventually includes a Hebrew paralell. I would definitely buy it if it did!)
