Caution, if you own a nook or are thinking of downloading this "file" of Shakespeare's complete works, you're ultimately going to be so disappointed. I am a proud nook owner, I purchased my treasured e-reader early in February and one of the first e-books I wanted to download was The Complete Works of William Shakespeare. Oddly this particular copy and another wouldn't download (it would go from 56% downloaded then drop to 16% in seconds), then when I did finally download them, they were incomplete, and to add insult to injury the copies "froze" my nook when opening or trying to view them. This was the one and only time my nook froze when opening any e-book. Anyway, when I did actually get to review my download, only half of one play "Richard III" was available, and in both copies the contents were in very grainy detail. So I tried to download again-same outcome. I understand that downloading a free book comes with some disappointment and, the old saying applies here "you get what you pay for" but the contents clearly state every one of Shakespeare wonderful plays and poems but that's not what you are getting when you view it on your nook. I apologize for giving anything involved with the bard anything lower in rating, then what the brilliant works deserves, but this format and this copy of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare needs to be addressed. Please Barnes & Noble convert and have available a "complete" comprehensive e-book worthy of Shakespeare.

I was very disappointed after downloading this to discover that in spite of the fact that the title very clearly states "Shakespeare's Complete Works," the only plays the document contained for me were Richard the III and Henry the IV. Don't get taken in by this deliberately misleading title.

Had to delete it. Simply will not open on nook device.

This edition of Shakespeare is titled "The Complete Works", including 37 plays , Tradgedies, Sonnets, etc. It is nothing of the sort. The actual download is one play, King Richard III, and that's it. This happened to me also when I downloaded the "complete works" of William Wordsworth. Again...NOT! Can you say... bogus? Either Google Books, or else Barnes and Noble has got to clean up their act by either delivering what they advertise,or else revise their product statement.

The are not hyperlinks that would allow me to skip to a certain chapter. However, the content is great :)

Works fine with my nook! All the plays are there and ready to be read. The only thing wrong is the table of contents links dont work. But thats ok because you can just search the the name of the play you want and BAM you're there.

I am homeschooled and was soooo excited that I could buy Shakespeare's entire works for 99¿. All I really needed was Antony and Cleopatra. I should have spent the $2.99 on that instead of paying 99¿ for this junk. I am sorry. I love Shakespeare and all but do NOT buy this. You should just buy the individual plays. The table of contents does not work and this sometimes freezes my Nook up. This was the worst waste of money ever!!!
