Getting Certified or want to understand computers, then this is the Book!

I am taking an online class to get certified. Many times I grab A+ Certification to gain clarity to a subject that the on line course leaves a bit vague.

Having bought the eBook version I missed out on a CD or DVD that comes with the dead tree version. Based on the context the book references a CD or DVD, I wish I had killed a tree.

The book can be used a reference or read it. The book sequentially presents the material starting with construction of a PC from inside to the Internet. Knowing nothing is not a problem.

    Kudos

Book is easy to use and understand. I like the flow of information and the mini test after each section. Only problem is I use the nook so I can not see the illustrations in larger print.

    Excellent

This book is very well-written and instructional. It is chock full of technical details with the occasional byte of humor. The authors have gone to great length to make it as informative as possible.
