    Please don't listen to the other two!

    Please do not listen to the other two reviews since one is complaining about the difficulty of computer science in general and the other is off on some tangent about shipping. This book provided great examples and applications of general computer science concepts. Great for a class. The only downside was occasionally the teacher's edition's answer key was wrong.

    Very Complicated

    I needed this class for my Intro to Computer Science Class. The textbook has alot of detailed information that isn't easy to understand, especially since it covers very advanced, broad topics of computer science. It was pretty hard for me to read this textbook.

    Slow

    It is two weeks since ordering the book. The class started more than 10 days ago. The book finally come late today. I have already reordered a same type of book from other bookseller, because I was not sure this bookseller had mailed the book at all. There is no tracking number.

    Great book for those trying to decide.

    This book is just the book you want to read if you are deciding if you want to enter the field of computer science. I just bought this book has taught me things I didn't know and reinforced the things I already know! I strongly recommend this book, and I have seen this book chosen for an introductory computer science class at New York University.
