As a college instructor, I have to use this textbook. The textbook itself is fine; it is the Medisoft program itself that is lacking. I have yet to find a medical office that uses Medisoft as its practice management program. Overall, the text is easy to follow and has very practical exercises for students.

This book does NOT come with the CD -rom software that you need in order to completed this class. I am now having to return this book and reorder from another company. When you search the ISBN number for this book the CD-ROM is a part of the book. THEREFORE if it is not coming with the CD-ROM software you need to specify that so you don't end up with an angry customer because they cannot complete their homework. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM BARNES AND NOBLES AGAIN.
