- LendMe LendMe™ Learn More
In a Zamorian city, called by some Arenjun, or the City of Thieves, a young Conan is drinking in a rowdy tavern when he overhears a fat Kothic rogue describing a fabulous jewel called the "Heart of the Elephant." The jewel is kept in an eponymous tower by an evil sorcerer named Yara. So, Conan decides to steal it. However, the exuberant young man finds out that it is easier said than done.
This is a short story originally released in the pulp magazine Weird Tales in March 1933.
