Progressive Nuyorican Salsa at its finest!

This album is one of the greatest salsa albums ever recorded. The song "Anabacoa" is worth the price alone! It is a fine example of the classic New York Salsa sound, very urban and very aggressive! This album has an all-star cast of NY Salsa musicians, people like Manny Oquendo and his Conjunto Libre to people like Chocolate Armenteros. Grupo Folklorico were definitely ahead of their of time. Their progressive fusion of Afro-Puertorican and Afro-Cuban sounds put them far ahead of the pack. I highly recommend this album to all salsa aficionados!
